JO MARCH WILL BE REMEMBERED

I’ll be honest, when walking into Little Women, I really thought it would be difficult to get into. I remember vaguely watching an older version of the film back in middle school or something. However, this film, let’s put it this way: if Uncut Gems was my favorite of 2019, this is a close second. What Greta Gerwig has done with this tale is so fresh yet passionate and true to the original source material. Saoirse Ronan is truly amazing along with the rest of the cast. OMG Florence killed her role. Timmy as well. Everyone was well-casted, I wouldn’t have changed anyone. The story was easy to follow and it was actually fun to watch the characters bloom and bond and separate and then come together again. Getting to see Lady Bird right afterwards too was a treat. I love that film and it just rejuvenated my love for film once more. Thank you to the beloved teamwork that is Greta and Saoirse.
