Yola Dia Fest Debuts in Los anGeles
Courtney Love at Yola Dia Fest in LA Historic Park, LA by Jacob Alvarez and edited by Savanah Alvarez
Lykke li’s showcase highlighted sophie, caT power, and courtney Love
Being the first Yola Dia fest to grace LA, it was one for the books. A special evening celebrating strong women and strong drink. You could feel the freedom, energy, and livelihood as soon as you stepped foot into the grounds. Each act brought passion as they were chosen to represent this important festival, being the first time, and they did not disappoint. From Cupcakke to Sophie, Megan Thee Stallion to Courtney Love, and Catpower to Lykke Li, everything ran smoothly. As a show that boasts cultures and love from all walks of life, I was certainly shown what it means to be apart of something that benefits as many people as possible. It was about putting everyone before yourself. I hope this show continues strong and comes back as an annual thing. I would be there every year in support.
