Experiencing Allah-Las Live in LA
packed stop at lodge room on zuma 85 tour
The allure of Allah-Las is not just in their music; it's the whole of their expertly curated experience. A captivating and nostalgic journey through the golden era of psychedelic rock; Allah-Las’ performance transcends entertainment and teeters on the edge of traveling between time and space. From the moment the first chords echoed through the venue, it was evident that Allah-Las had a special connection with their craft. The seamless fusion of jangly guitars, ethereal melodies, and hypnotic rhythms created a sonic landscape that felt both familiar and refreshingly unique.
Opening with their iconic cover of The Frantics’ “No Werewolf,” Allah-Las proceed to blaze through their sun-soaked discography; zig-zagging between 2012’s self-titled Allah-Las, and the band’s latest, this year’s Zuma 85; a humid, swirling escape from the winter chill creeping into a golden and guilded autumnal Los Angeles. The band’s 2023 tour concluded Saturday, November 18th at San Francisco’s August Hall, though the band left a cheeky note stating “more dates tbd” in the comments section. Check out the setlist here!
